Master cylinder gaskets wear out prematurely
The push rod must be pressed straight in. If not, there will be an oblique load that affects internal gaskets negatively and in the worst case, the push rod plate can come into mechanical contact with the cylinder bore.
The brake cylinder does not release brake fluid back to the reservoir.
- The wrong brake fluid has been used so the gaskets swell and block the road.
This can also happen if correct brake fluid is mixed with incorrect brake fluid. - Debris in the cylinder blocks the way.
- The ventilation in the lid of the brake fluid reservoir is blocked.
- The push rod is pushed in at rest position.
