Can I use one brake cylinder reservoir for two master cylinders?
It is possible to have one fluid reservoir for both brake lines if there is enough volume, but it is still better to have separate ones for safety reasons. Because if one brake line starts to leak fluid, the other remains intact and unaffected. However, if you use the same fluid reservoir, a leakage in one brake line will empty the container for both lines.
OEM containers have an internal separator from the two lines, making it look like one container, but it is technically two of them inside.
