What size should I have on my fuel lines?
A rough guideline is usually 1mm inner diameter per 100hp on Petrol. Or 1.3mm inner diameter per 100 hp on Ethanol.
Example:
800 hp gasoline = 8 mm inner diameter.
800 hp ethanol = 10.4 mm inner diameter.
Which fuel hoses should I have?
If you are going to build a new fuel system, you should use PTFE hose. Nothing else. This is a plastic hose that can handle both petrol and ethanol. This hose is used by OEM manufacturers precisely for reliability.
What torque (tightening torque) should AN fittings and hose have?
Most people tighten by hand (by feel). Here is more information about tightening torque.
