Turbosmart e-WG wastegate fits with the old flanges from the previous Gen-4 and Gen-V series. The new electric wastegate valve is no longer controlled by the engines pressure / vacuum but is now fully electric.
So now you no longer need to manipulate the engine over and under pressure with an boost valve. Now you control this directly through the electrical operation of the wastegate valve's electric motor.
